The Textile Technology Center in Belmont, NC has begun offering Textile 101 classes.  It never hurts to have a refresher course, young or old.

The Mint Museum of Art and the Mint Museum of Craft & Design in uptown Charlotte, NC will move into their newly constructed building in September 2010. With the celebration of this event, it was decided to commission ten of the top craftsmen in their field.
